HID Global showcase its secure digital keys and identity credentials for mobile access at ASIS International

HID Global, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, announced it will showcase its secure digital keys and identity credentials for mobile access at ASIS International, Middle East and Security Conference and Exhibition in Dubai, 17-19 February 2013.
The key focus will be the convergence of physical access and IT security solutions by demonstrating how the same mobile access key can facilitate access from the door to data.

"We will be available to meet stakeholders who are interested in implementing mobile access control for physical access and IT security and assist them in addressing key secure identity challenges with our proven solutions," Serra added.
HID Global will highlight end-user case studies and white papers from 17-19 February 2013, Stand Number 26, at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.
Key case study demonstrations include the following:
A)Successful employee building access pilots using HID Global's SESAME award-winning iCLASS SE readers and credentials with Netflix, the world's leading internet television network.
The pilots validated the use of digital credentials on NFC smartphones while delivering increased functionality and unprecedented levels of security. Some of the end user feedback from the pilot included:
•More than 80% of Netflix testers said the application for unlocking a door was 'intuitive', and nearly 90% described it as easy to use.
•87.5% of Netflix respondents said they would want to use a smartphone to open all locked doors at Netflix.
B)iCLASS Seos that allows for NFC mobile phones to be for multiple applications including physical access control and IT security. It will showcase how end-users can use applications such as wireless hotel keys, time and attendance, secure print authentication and biometric template storage.
Key white papers HID Global will be showcasing include:
•Secure Visitor Management best practices based on HID Global's EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management (SVM) software solutions for visitor badges and detailed visitor logs.
•Converging Access of IT and Building Resources illustrating the meaningful coming together of IT and Physical Security.
•NFC and Smartphone Technology for Smart Access Control: HID Global and ASSA ABLOY are unlocking non-payment applications of NFC.
