- PRESS RELEASE
The famous Marco Pierre White venue Wheeler's of St. James's, London, has recently opened its first restaurant outside of the UK in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Speaking about the Wheeler's Dubai opening Anthony P. Liddiard, Chief Executive Officer of RMAL Hospitality, said, "Our collaboration with Marco Pierre White began over six years ago and our focus on tailoring these brands for the UAE market has been hugely successful."
"Wheeler's is one of the oldest fish restaurants in the world and we have worked closely with Marco to regenerate this classic London institution. Many patrons have very fond memories of the brand stretching back decades and we have been very careful to retain the heritage of the restaurant. We have not compromised in any way with the quality of the produce and we are confident that Wheeler's Dubai will raise the bar in what has become the gastronomic centre of the region," he added.
Wheeler's, established in 1856, is renowned for its focus on traditional British seafood with signature dishes that include the Wheeler's Prawn Cocktail, Smoked Salmon, Scottish Cumbrae Oysters, Dover Sole, and Grilled Lobster alongside an exciting range of game and meat dishes such as Black Angus Sirloin.
The 106 seat restaurant boasts high ceilings with unique lighting features, marble floors, wood paneling, a bar and lounge area and show kitchen.
"We continue to develop the Marco Pierre White brands within the region and we are passionate about creating a memorable experience in each of our venues. Gone are the days when average restaurants can cut it in Dubai. There is a huge gap in the Dubai market for a seafood restaurant of Wheeler's calibre and we are confident that it will deliver an exceptional experience," added Liddiard.
