Over 10,000 people flock to Great Parenting Show in Dubai

During the two-day event, held on November 30 and December 1, 2012 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, parents engaged in a wide array of interactive, engaging and entertaining activities.

Through the event, experts and specialists interacted freely with parents to discuss everything from education, childcare, nutrition, health and wellbeing, fitness, safety to entertainment.

Among the popular attractions at the show were the Exhibition Zone, Seminar Zone, One-on-One Consultation Zone and Kids Activity Zone. The LinkViva ambassador and renowned expert Bernadette Abraham also interacted with participants in the Parent to Parent Lounge, discussing various experiences and challenges, and suggesting ways to overcome them.

The Lounge presented presentations by experts and parents on various real-life situations, while the seminars focused on the adventures of child rearing, academic concerns, balancing parenting and relationships and other matters that affect kids emotionally, physically and socially.

Coinciding with the 41st UAE National Day weekend and in association with Dubai Tecom Authority, the show also celebrated the spirit of the Union by conducting the UAE's first ever family challenge. The Tribal Games will also celebrate the occasion, by creating the 'Tribes' t-shirts with amazing prizes up for grabs.

The Great Parenting Show was a successful in providing a fun-filled family day with a glimpse of the different stages in the incredible journey of being a parent.
