The female-only exhibition attracted in excess of twenty-five thousand Sultan Qaboos University students, families and outside visitors, during the two-week period prior to Eid, giving Alliance Housing Bank an ideal opportunity to target a large percentage of its future potential customers. Its sponsorship was also an integral part of the Bank's corporate responsibility strategy which aims to be involved in areas such as further education.

For the past five years, the Sultan Qaboos University Eid Exhibition Market was organised to provide female students with the opportunity to purchase clothes, perfumes, cosmetics and other gift items from more than 70 exhibitors, prior to the Eid celebratory period. Organised by Business Society, the Students' Activities Body in College of Commerce and Economics, the Eid Market also enabled management, marketing and commerce students to put into practice, many of the skills learned through their modules and coursework.

Karim Boukarroum, Head of Marketing of Alliance Housing Bank said,
"It was a good opportunity for us to meet with the students and give them better information about our products and services. We were positevely impressed by the organizational level of the Exhibition which shows that the students are very well prepared, hard working and creative".
