No cooling off in UAE A/C market

The construction boom in the UAE is set to cause a doubling in demand for cooling capacity in the next five years according to industry experts, reported Gulf News. At present, capacity is estimated at around 1.5m tonnes of refrigeration but some analysts feel that this will reach 3m TR by 2010. There has also been a slight shift away from traditional window units to central air conditioning systems.
