BBK continues to support young Bahrainis' business and entrepreneurship development

BBK has marked its continuous support of inJAz Bahrain youth development program by granting BD7, 550 to the organization.

As part of the Bank's ongoing efforts to build a brighter future for Bahraini youth, the Board of Directors approved the continuous support to inJAz Bahrain, in recognition of the value of the non-profit organization's programs.
Dr. Farid Al Mulla, General Manager and CEO of BKK and Chairman of inJAz Bahrain and Abdul Hussein Bustani, AGM, Human Resources of BBK presented the BBK's membership fees to Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Executive Director of inJAz Bahrain at a ceremony held at BBK

Dr. Farid Al Mulla said, "We are very pleased to take part in inJAz Bahrain activities by being one of the organization's private sector partners. inJAz Bahrain work on educating and equipping Bahraini youth with the business
skills they need, encouraging free enterprise, and improving the career prospects of young Bahrainis, which is very much in line with BBK's strategy, and we will continue to support national efforts to achieve our mutual goals."

Shaikha Hessa said, "inJAz Bahrain was established in 2005 to leverage multi-level and community-based private-public-partnerships. In partnership with business and educators, inJAz Bahrain brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. BBK's financial contribution to inJAz Bahrain and the leader ship of Dr. Fareed Al Mulla as the chairman to inJAz Bahrain demonstrates the Bank's commitment to developing and providing enhanced opportunities to Bahraini youth, and we are grateful for their support."

BBK's financial contribution policy is targeted towards non-governmental organizations that support less advantaged children, as well as to organizations supporting development of education, art, healthcare and culture.

The policy is in line with the Bank's commitment to the local community. BBK seeks to diversify the base of its community service recipients, thereby proactively contributing to securing improved opportunities for a large and diversified population.

inJAz Bahrain's vision is to provide young people with the opportunity to experience how business works, value the role of free enterprise in providing employment and creating prosperity, and be inspired to improve their own prospects supported by the Kingdom's leading companies, volunteers and educators.

To this end, inJAz Bahrain seeks to deliver highly practical, activity based enjoyable learning programs that inspire young people and reflect best current business practices, to encourage youth to take initiative, be creative and become active participants in the economy and to create a new generation of youth that is business oriented and is well equipped to become the employees of choice for corporations.
