The first privately owned airline in the Middle East has changed the way people travel from and to the region by championing travellers' independence and control.

Marwan Boodai, Chairman and CEO of Jazeera Airways said:

"A year ago, we launched our dream to be in the business of empowering travellers, today we are proud that Jazeera Airways has been able to achieve our vision of putting more control into the hands of our travellers. We will continue to work with the best partners and international suppliers to enable us to continue empowering them."

As part of the celebrations, the Jazeera Airways has announced a special anniversary offer from Dubai to Kuwait. The offer is valid from October 30 to November 2, 2006 for travel from November 12 to March 24, 2007. Customers can book their tickets through their chosen travel agents or online at jazeeraairways.com, where travellers can book and pay for their flights and reserve seats in the convenience of their home or office.

Making headlines as the first privately owned airline in the Middle East last year, Jazeera Airways changed the travel industry in Kuwait by breaking away from aviation models known in the region to offer a brand new travel experience that gave its passengers complete control over their travel plans.

By investing heavily into a solid IT foundation, Jazeera Airways built a new model tasked with raising operational efficiency by incorporating the latest revenue management procedures into the company and installing state-of-the-art technologies, enabling travellers to become more independent in their bookings and payment.
