Dreamliner costs hit Boeing

Chicago based aircraft manufacturer Boeing has been hit by rising costs in relation to its Dreamliner 787 project according to the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post. Weight issues and supplier delays were likely to crank up development costs by millions of dollars over this year and next. CEO James McNerney said that the firm remains confident of delivering the aircraft on time in 2008.
