EMC announces new EMC Retrospect Express HD 2.0 for easy and reliable PC backup

Earlier versions of EMC Retrospect Express HD edition were only available bundled with third-party branded hard drives. With the release of version 2.0, EMC Retrospect Express HD is now available as standalone software from leading retailers.

Retrospect Express HD 2.0 takes only minutes to set up using a simple three-step process: choose what to protect, select a hard drive to store backups to, and set a schedule. The software automatically ensures the Windows desktop or notebook is completely and reliably protected.

Retrospect Express HD 2.0 uses the same powerful Progressive Incremental and Smart RestoreTM technologies found in Retrospect's broader home/home office and business editions. During each backup, Retrospect captures just new or changed data, eliminating the need for time-consuming weekly full backups.
