MD of OITE elected as Vice Chairman of UFI

This shows that the decision to elect him as the winning candidate for entrepreneur of the year which he won against many capable candidates in Oman has also been echoed at the international level by electing him among many international candidates for the post of vice chairman Middle East of Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, serves the worldwide exhibition sector including show organisers, venue managers and service providers.

On 10 and 11 January 2007, UFI is organising the first seminar in Muscat, Oman titled "Solutions for Successful Exhibition Marketing". The seminar is hosted by OITE and will provide exhibition industry professionals, both UFI members and non-members, exciting insight into topics at the heart of our business. The seminar is specifically designed to meet needs of exhibition professionals, from new technology programmes to "bazaars", there is something for everyone.

UFI had also bestowed OITE's event GHEDEX - Gulf Higher Education Exhibition, the title as "UFI Approved Event" after the UFI evaluation criteria recently. GHEDEX is the Sultanate of Oman's one and only internationally recognised event with UFI's quality label.

OITE doesn't settle for just this but is contributing to expand its expertise to other regions and will soon distinguish itself at all domestic and international exhibitions. OITE has about 14 exhibitions lined up for 2007. Money World, International Property Exhibition, Muscat International Fair, Home & Life Style, Office Tech, Franchise Expo, India Show, COMEX, GHEDEX, TRAINEX, JOBEX, Oman Travel Market, Gulf Eco and Autumn Trade Fair. Known for its quality of exhibitions, OITE is exploring the unexplored which will be soon in the limelight.
