BBK and Western Union extend money transfer services to five more Bahrain post office locations

This first of its kind initiative meant that customers could send money in minutes via the Western Union network of over 270,000 Agent locations across 200 countries and territories worldwide.

In view of the success of this service provision at Bahrain Post Office locations, BBK in its capacity as a Western Union Authorized Agent has now extended certification to five more post office locations (Sitra, Riffa, Hidd, Diplomatic Area, and Central Market). As such, customers can transfer money from Manama, Muharraq, Isa Town, Budaiya, Adliya, The Bahrain Mall, Sitra, Riffa, Hidd, Diplomatic Area, or Central Market Bahrain Post office locations.

Each of the post offices has been provided with the necessary system capabilities and training required to provide the highest level of service. The ease of money transfers via Western Union is built upon:

BBK continues to assist consumers and businesses to transfer money from every one of its 16 branches and with the post-offices added as service providers, the Western Union money transfer network in Bahrain continues to grow.
