United Kaipara Dairies Company (popularly known by its brand name 'Unikai') is wholly owned by UAE nationals. It was incorporated as a public limited company in Dubai by a decree of H.H. the Ruler of Dubai on April 11, 1977 with Al Owais Family and the Al Mulla Family being the main sponsors. The Company's head office, its production facilities and main distribution facilities are located in the Al Quoz Industrial Area in Dubai, over an area of 475,000 square feet.

The Company established Branches with distribution set-up in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Khorfakkan and Ras Al Khaimah. Also the company carries general trading activities under the name ( Unikai international).

The Company also incorporated a limited liability company in Muscat under the name of Unikai & Company LLC for distribution of its products in Sultanate of Oman. Unikai & Company has been allocated a plot of land by the Government of Oman in Sohar for setting up a Dairy plant there.

DFM is operating as a secondary market for trading of securities issued by public shareholding companies, bonds issued by the Federal Government or any of the Local Governments and public institutions in the country, units of investment funds and any other financial instruments, local or foreign, which are accepted by the Market.
