British Airways entices Euro travellers with seasonal sale

  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 31 - 2006 at 14:34
  • PRESS RELEASE

British Airways, one of the world's largest international scheduled airlines which has been flying between the Middle East and the UK for over 70 years, has launched a seasonal sale on flights to 11 prime European destinations from Dubai and Abu Dhabi this winter.

By transiting Heathrow, London's principal airport, travellers can access exclusive European hotspots, including Paris and Nice in France, Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, as well as Geneva, Munich, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Zurich, Lisbon and Brussels.

Valid for travel from 1 November to 31 December 2006, with the exception of December 13-24 when a high season supplement is incurred, the offer on all of the UK flag carrier's 24 weekly UAE-Heathrow flights comes as families plan their festive season breaks.

"Our last seat sale was phenomenally successful, with passengers appreciating competitive fares being aligned to valued onboard and pre-flight products and services," said Paul Starrs, British Airways' Commercial Manager, Middle East and Pakistan.

British Airways Holidays also has over 2,000 London hotel beds available during the festive season - more than any other agent. The rooms, in the centre of London, provide fantastic stop-over opportunities for travellers en route to other destinations.

A full list of all UK and North Atlantic destinations and fares is available online at ba.com where passengers can book and pay and receive an e-ticket instantly. They can also book and pay online for hotels and car hire.
