- PRESS RELEASE
XPress Telecommunications employees celebrated the Holy Month of Ramadan this year by holding iftar meals in honor of the orphans residing at the Omar Ibn Al Khatab and the Mathabat Dar Al Iman orphanages in Amman.
The Iftar meals were served to the children within a truly festive ambience, and provided a perfect opportunity for XPress' social committee members to talk and play with the children at the orphanages and to learn more about their lives.
When asked to comment on this initiative, Mr. Marwan Juma, CEO of XPress Telecommunications, said, "This initiative stems directly from XPress's strong belief in the positive impact that such endeavors have. The Holy Month of Ramadan is a time for giving, and who better a recipient than the children who have been deprived of parental love and guidance. We hope that this event will mark the start of stronger and more powerful ties between both XPress and those organizations that work whole heartedly to perform charitable acts and initiatives that only promise to improve the quality of life."
XPress' social committee announced in an official statement that both iftar visits were a success, and that the visits brought a great level of love and joy to all parties involved. The joy brought to the children was immense, and this genuine expression of joy served as a source of inspiration for all of XPress' Social Committee team members. The Social Committee further affirmed that it plans to implement more initiatives of this sort in the future.
