  • PRESS RELEASE

Nearly a quarter of a million people visited Sahara Centre during Eid, many with the aim of winning one of the major prizes in the mall's AED2 million Ramadan promotions.

Shoppers were attracted to stores offering good discounts on fashion, kids items and toys during Ramadan, while the mall's food court also enjoyed good patronage over this period. Majority of mall tenants say they were very pleased with the sales made over Ramadan.

Rima Chammas, Marketing Manager of Sahara Centre said: "Our unique combination of promotions this year certainly attracted a lot of shoppers to the mall, with prizes aimed at men and women separately."

For every AED200 spent in any Sahara Centre outlet, shoppers could enter a draw for one of two Ford Mustang Convertibles, as well as four sets of furniture from Marina Exotic Home Interiors as prizes.

"Our promotions this year were well-appreciated by our patrons, judging from the number of entries received and the increase in spending, within the mall. This is very pleasing because we are working hard to ensure there is always something new for customers to participate in when they visit Sahara Centre," Chammas says.
