  • PRESS RELEASE

The homeshopping network Citruss TV has launched its eShop www.citrusstv.com.

People can shop on this platform and get useful information about the products that are featured on Citruss TV. The visitor will find 9 product segments with a focus on beauty and cosmetic products. 80% of the products come from Europe, the rest from the USA, Australia and Canada. The website creates a secure shopping environment for the customer.

"Although the internet penetration rate for our core target group in the Gulf region in general, and Saudi Arabia as our main market in specific, is well below 10%, it is important for a shopping channel to run an e-commerce platform. Activities such as shopping through the internet will stronlgy increase in this region over the next couple of years and companies with a trusted online presence will largely benefit from this development", says Michael Truschler, Director of Citruss TV.

With a growth rate of 15% in sales per month over the last year, Citruss TV experienced a strong growth and wants to further enhance this development through online activities. The launch of the English website is a first step into the e-commerce market. It will shortly be followed by the Arabic version of the platform and a new design of the portal by the end of the year.
