Rare and exquisite Jewellery and watches on display at the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show

Among the major show stealers at the event are a diamond studded ladies watch worth over Dhs. 69,000, and a necklace with a very rare 56-carat ruby.

The ladies watch is of swiss make but has been studded with over 10 carats of diamonds in Saudi Arabia. It is available at the stand of Al Daham for Watches at the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show. Also available at the same stand are two equally beautiful diamond studded watches, one for men and the other for ladies. The men's watch is priced at Dhs 22,700 and the ladies watch is valued at Dhs 41,600.

For the jewellery connoisseur, the 42-carat diamond studded necklace with the rare single piece 56-carat ruby is a major attraction. It comes as a complete set along with earrings, ring, and a bracelet. Whereas the earrings are studded with 17.11-carat ruby and 10.25-carat diamond, the ring is studded with 8.7-carat ruby and 2.33-carat diamond. The bracelet has 21.56-carat ruby and 10.73-carat diamond. The value of the total set is over half a million dirhams. It is available at the stand of India-based Dialmaz jewellers.

Another diamond and emerald studded jewellery set that is on display at the stand of the Istanbul based A Sentez jewellers has also been attracting considerable interest from lovers of fine jewellery. The set consists of three pieces- a necklace, a ring, and earrings. The necklace, studded with 88.45 -carat diamonds and 62.74 -carat emerald, is priced at Dhs. 1,909,920 (USD $ 519,000). The ring studded with 4.24-carat diamonds and 8.9-carat emerald is valued at Dhs. 203,872 (USD $ 55,400). The earrings with 26.3 carat-diamonds and 25.06 -carat emerald is valued at Dhs. 826,160 (USD $ 224,500). The total value of the set is Dhs. 2,939, 952 (USD 798,900)

The current MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show is displaying several such high value range of watches and jewellery. The event is hosting over 300 master jewellers from across the globe.

Besides individual participation from Bahrain, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, USA, and the UAE, the event is featuring dedicated country pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

On display are gold and diamond jewllery, precious stones, pearl sets, watches, and jewellery displays, among others.

The event is open for general visitors on Friday November 3 from 3 pm to 10 pm. Visitors will have the chance to win gold bars and other fabulous prizes on purchases of over Dhs. 500 at the exhibition.
