Arab regulators to pull together

Arab stock market regulators have agreed to set up a union body, called the Union of Arab Securities Commissions, which they hope will help bring more investment into regional bourses, Gulf News reported. The aim is to unify regulations, accounting and disclosure standards across markets. It is an initiative of the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority.
