- Bahrain: Saturday, November 04 - 2006 at 08:33
An express train line between Bahrain and Qatar could be built as part of the planned Bahrain-Qatar causeway, Gulf Daily News reported. A delegation from Gulf countries recently visited Germany where the Transrapid Magnetic Levitation Train, which can hit speeds of around 500km/h, is being tested. A 800km-long corridor could one day link Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE, the German ambassador to Bahrain told the daily.
