- PRESS RELEASE
Conrad Hotels, the luxury portfolio of the Hilton family, has revealed plans to enter the GCC market, furthering its expansion across the Middle East region.
Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Conrad Hotels represents 16 luxury properties worldwide, including two currently under development in Asia - in Bangkok and Bali. Conrad Hotels constantly offers value to its business and leisure customers, establishing and maintaining the highest levels of service delivery with the renowned 'Conrad Service Culture'.
"We carefully select properties around the world to manage - we implement consistent and demanding training procedures with strict measurement tools. We're renowned for our high standards in all areas - architecture, design, comfort and service. It is this criteria that makes us one of the world's leading luxury hotel management groups," added Barter.
Meanwhile, GCC visitors to Europe have been impressed with two of Conrad's flagship properties - the UK capital's only all-suite five-star hotel, the Conrad London and the superbly restored 19th century Conrad Brussels.
The Conrad London boasts a number of unique features from its 160 large suites, to a 24-hour executive helicopter service from the heliport, situated opposite the hotel, to the capital's airports. The property is the only hotel in London with a harbour-side setting, Aquasia for al fresco dining, where guests can enjoy views of Chelsea's stylish boats. The luxury hotel provides for every emergency need with special gift packs filled with cufflinks, ties and braces, tights, perfume, aftershave, razor, toiletries and even underwear.
The hotel features a state-of-the-art business facility with 14 meeting rooms, designed to meet all conference requirements for up to 200 delegates. Fitness enthusiasts will enjoy the Conrad Health Club with fully equipped gym, indoor heated swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms, massage and beauty treatments.
With the most exclusive address in London, Chelsea is renowned for its shopping from antiques and galleries to cutting-edge fashion on the Kings Road, while the Royal Court Theatre entertains drama lovers.
Meanwhile, the Conrad Brussels, a member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World', elegantly complements the period architecture on the European Union capital's famous Avenue Louise by integrating the facade of an original 19th century building with the hotel's modern design.
Inside, the hotel offers Brussels' largest hotel rooms - 269 luxury guest rooms ranging in size from 450 to 3,000 square feet, many being duplex or split-level suites. Two award-winning restaurants, 15 meeting rooms and the world-renowned Champney's health club with swimming pool, sauna, hammam, dedicated spa with over 60 treatments and daily activities programme round off the hotel's offerings.
The city's cathedrals, parks, antique markets, and historical monuments including the Grand Place, Europe's most beautiful square listed as a World Heritage site are all a short stroll away. The hotel is only 1 hour 20 minutes from Paris by train, and 2 hours 40 minutes with Eurostar from London.
