The Emirates Post delegation also participated in discussions on key postal issues including a new UPU-driven electronic money transfer system that is being implemented in a number of countries, including Australia, China, Egypt, France, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Tunisia.
Nasser Qaddoumi, head of the International Postal Service, Emirates Post, led a session on Express Mail as part of a workshop organized by a UPU sub committee.
Other members of the delegation included Saud Al Suwaidi from International Postal Services and Saeed Salmeen, International Relations.
Abdulla Al Daboos, Director General, Emirates Post said:

The Council of Administration consists of 41 member countries and meets each year at UPU headquarters in Berne, Switzerland. It ensures continuity of the UPU's work between two Congresses, supervises its' activities and studies regulatory, administrative, legislative and legal issues.
The annual UPU Strategy Conference is moving out of its headquarters in Switzerland for the first time this year.
