Samir Sabbah, Head of Media Middle East & Africa, Reuters said: 'Dubai is a major news and media centre for Reuters in the Middle East and we are pleased to be able to showcase our products and services, under one roof at The Media & Marketing Show.
'The event provides a great opportunity to network and showcase our latest technologies and products. Reuters' presence in the region's premier media event will also help gain high visibility for the volume and quality of work generated from our GCC headquarters in Dubai Media City.'
The annual Media and Marketing Show has come to be regarded as a crucial event for the regional media industry when its growth is at an all time high. The 2006 edition of the highly rated event will draw an increased participation of exhibitors, including international companies from Europe, US, Asia and Africa.
The second edition of the Media and Marketing Show is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, more than 10 per cent up on the nearly 9,000 visitors from 47 countries who attended in 2005. Over 60 percent of the visitors comprised senior managers with specific decision making responsibility for marketing and advertising activities.
