PICTI to announce new projects and partnerships at Expotech 2006

Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI) has concluded its preparation to participate in Palestine's technology exhibition and conference, (Expotech) 2006.

The Exhibition will take place in Al-Bireh Municipality Halls starting today, Monday 6th of November until Wednesday 8th of November, 2006.

PICTI's Participation in this exhibition started with Expotech 2004, aiming to communicate with relevant stakeholders its mission and services. PICTI has received a wide interest during the past two exhibitions and was the highlight during Expotech 2005 when it featured incubated projects at its booth. PICTI will be building on this success at Expotech 2006.

According to Mr. Laith Kassis, the General Manager of PICTI,

"The Palestinian Incubator believes that 2006 exhibition is a great opportunity to interact with future entrepreneurs in Palestine. Participating in this exhibition is part of PICTI's marketing events to communicate to the Expotech visitors its wide range of services and support to this promising Palestinian sector. PICTI's contribution to this sector was highlighted through providing Palestinian entrepreneurs with an incubation environment as well as financial and technical services in order to nurture the talented and ambitious individuals in this society".


Mr. Kassis also added "PICTI is looking forward for Expotech 2006, to announce innovative projects with World Bank infoDev program and also announce new partnerships that will sustain the organization".

As part of its agenda during the Exhibition, PICTI will be offering transportation from Bethlehem to the Exhibition grounds for Bethlehem University students and professors to bring University students closer to the leading technology exhibition in Palestine. PICTI will also be dedicating some of its floor space at the exhibition to eight talented students and recent graduates, thus granting them the opportunity to showcase their innovative products as an indicator that PICTI is the address to nurture Palestinian talents.

PICTI and its partner organizations have as their mission the revitalization and the sustainable growth of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector in Palestine.
