Qanat Al Qasba, the favourite, cultural, leisure and entertainment destination in the UAE, will participate in the esteemed World Travel Market (WTM) exhibition this year for the first time.

Staged annually in London under one roof, the World Travel Market is one of the most important annual gatherings for travel and tourism industry professionals.

Beginning today at ExCeL London, the four day event provides a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade industry to meet, network, negotiate, conduct business and stay abreast with the latest developments in the travel industry. Qanat Al Qasba will be participating within the Sharjah stand organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority this year.

'A record breaking 48,211 travel industry professionals participated at WTM 2005 representing 202 countries and regions. The World Travel Market brings together worldwide buyers and sellers from every sector of the industry, and participating in such events enables us to portray a clearer picture of the culturally and heritage-rich region and its important tourist cum emtertainment destinations such as QAQ to a wider audience,' said Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of the Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority.

'Through its participation at WTM, Qanat Al Qasba will display its new spectacular cultural, tourism and entertainment portfolio aiming at enhancing its position destination of choice at national, regional and international levels,'



added Al Sarkal.

The assigned representatives of Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority will inform visitors to the fair about Qanat Al Qasba, the ultimate leisure destination of the emirates, and would also make relevant deals with the involved tourism companies. QAQ representatives will also distribute brochures among visitors.
