The guide book is a compilation of the UAE's key real estate projects. It provides potential investors with an overview of major developments in the UAE as well as offering buyers step-by-step guidance to acquiring property.

The A to Z Guide of Freehold Properties in the UAE has been released and is being distributed across the UAE and GCC markets, as well as in the UK. It can be bought from any leading bookshop such as the Virgin Megastore (Mercato and Mall of the Emirates) and Spartan Book Shop at the Crown Plaza Hotel.

A Well-Planned Guide

The UAE market has seen hundreds of projects launch in such a short period, which has made the selection process for buyers difficult and time consuming. 'This guide book literally cuts that process in half. It contains a detailed index of every possible search criteria you could think of, enabling individuals to filter their search based on their preferred criteria. It also consolidates most projects, allowing individuals to compare on price per square foot, mortgage availability, location, and various other factors', says Dr. Ali Matar.

Treasure troves of information contained within the book include:

• Locator Maps created for each community making the book into a virtual tour guide that allows you to visualize the location of each project.

• Detailed listings of the full spectrum of developments from ready built to off-plan projects.

• Detailed Metrics such as price per square foot and maintenance charges for projects enabling you to benchmark it against other developments.

Dr. Matar concludes, 'This book is like an encyclopedia of properties in the UAE. The market has seen a number of real estate publications crop up. However, we have found a huge demand for a publication that offers such an extensive, detailed listing of properties and communities in such a dynamic market. This will act as a great tool for real estate agents, first time buyers, developers, and regular consumers who are seeking to invest in the UAE property market.'

240 paged book covers the following:

• Overview on the UAE

• Dubai - from an Economic Perspective

• The Property Law

• Tips on Buying/selling
