  • PRESS RELEASE

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has increased the incentive for companies flying KLM and partners with BlueBiz, KLM's corporate loyalty program, in the UAE.

This incentive consists of "Blue Credits" to be redeemed for free tickets.

This better reward targets the lowest fare tickets, resulting in an interesting incentive for all tickets purchased via BlueBiz. The changes have been implemented following feedback from our BlueBiz customers. The incentive on the higher fares including Business class and Economy flexible fares will remain the same as the reward is already on track with members' expectations.

With this new incentive scheme, KLM expects to target smaller "Small and Medium Enterprises" (SME) to fly KLM with economy low price tickets. "The UAE is a strategic country to develop BlueBiz as it is an international environment with a lot of small and medium companies, and that's why we are keen to invest more in this segment of our customers" says Humayun Baig, KLM's UAE Country Manager.

This corporate loyalty program which started in 2004 in the region already counts a total of 16,000 members. The program gives more advantages to small corporates. The registration and any other request can be done online on KLM.com, which makes it a very user friendly and efficient program. BlueBiz members can also book their tickets on KLM.com to save on service fee. These online services are supported by a physical desk in every country to provide members with help if needed.

BlueBiz credits are also cumulative with Flying Blue Miles meaning that both the company and the flyer get rewarded for the same trip. Finally, the only issue is: how to use all these free tickets?
