MTC partners with Spectek (Division of Micron) and have the exclusive distribution rights for it in the MENA region.
Spectek memory holds 60% of the market share in the MENA region. The main reasons for MTC having a lions share of the market in memory and the reasons are the quality, price, availability of product and our excellent post-sales support said Nizar. Elaborating he said 'The prime focus is now going to be to maintain this share by maintaining the quality of the product, and to continue supporting our channel'.
MTC, which distributes Intel CPU's, holds a substantial percentage of the CPU market share also. 'Our focus will be primarily to strengthen our hold on the market and look at increasing growth' said Jonathan. Emphasizing the reason of MTC's success, he said 'Despite the intense competition in the CPU market, MTC has managed to wrest control of a sizeable percentage of market share and this is due to its golden rules of committed support to its channel, unmatchable technical support and ready availability of product'.
MTC, currently on an expansion binge with the introduction of its new brand- GENX, is looking to solidify its position as market leaders in memory and as a major player in CPU distribution.
MTC to protract Memory and CPU divisions
Memory Technology Middle East has announced the appointment of Nizar Nairoukh and Jonathan Gadalla as the new Product Managers of its Memory and CPU divisions respectively.
