Its sister hotel, the chain's flagship property the Taj Mahal Hotel Mumbai has been awarded top honours in polls conducted by two leading international publications. Euromoney Magazine's Business Poll and the readers of Global Finance have ranked the Taj Mahal Hotel Mumbai as the 'Best Hotel in Mumbai'. Another accolade, was given to the Taj Group of Hotels when it received the coveted 'Best Hotel Group in India' title during the 2002 'Selling Long Haul Travel Awards'.
