USRobotics promotes three executive team members

Peter Blampied will expand his role in EMEA as Vice President of International Sales and Operations, while Molly Baars will become Vice President of Global Operations and Kevin Pfau will transition to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

"These appointments are part of our long term growth plan for USRobotics," said Steven D. Dalrymple, USRobotics' CEO. "As vice president of sales and operations abroad, Peter will be able to direct strategic initiatives, better focus on the goals for our international business, and ensure our partners have the tools they need to be successful."

Blampied will be responsible for sales and operations in all regions outside of North America, including Europe, the Middle East, and CIS. His responsibilities will comprise all marketing activities and EMEA product management efforts, including overall P&L. Previously, Blampied served as Director of Sales, EMEA.

In addition, USRobotics has promoted Molly Baars to Vice President of Global Operations, where she will oversee the company's Supply Chain, Information Technology, Product Management, CSO, and Engineering departments. Baars previously served as Vice President of Engineering for the networking products provider.

Kevin Pfau has also been promoted, to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of USRobotics. Pfau has been with the organization since 1992 and previously served as Corporate Controller. He played an instrumental role in restructuring the company following its spin off from 3Com and will oversee strategic financial planning moving forward.
