This will be the second consecutive year that MotorCity takes on the mantle as title sponsor for Dubai's round of the 2006 FIA GT Championship. MotorCity GT 500 of Dubai will be organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

One of the most anticipated events in the UAE racing calendar, the MotorCity GT 500 Dubai Championship will feature a dazzling line-up of drivers and racing cars. Among the top names are the Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Porsche.
The 5.39 km FIA sanctioned circuit of the Dubai Autodrome will test the skills of the world's best race drivers as they compete in the three-day ultimate round of the 2006 FIA GT Championship.
