This User Group Meeting (UGM) brings together the client base of Anritsu, including operators from Denmark, Turkey, Russia, Indonesia, Kuwait and UAE. Anritsu is a multi-national company that offers operators an integrated service assurance solution, known as 'MasterClaw'.

MasterClaw is Anritsu's probe-based non-intrusive monitoring system designed to provide full end-to-end monitoring of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, and VoIP/SS7 networks. Based on recorded signaling data, MasterClaw reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and statistics generated to assess the efficiency of the network. Anritsu's system has significantly helped in enhancing the quality of both national and international traffic for operators.

Fadhil Al Ansari, Executive Vice President- Engineering, Etisalat, said: "Quality of service is a critical component for the success of any operator. We look forward to sharing experiences and best practice solutions with our international peers."

Thomas Jensen, Assistant General Manager, Service Assurance Division, Anritsu, said:

"Having our UGM 2006 in the UAE comes at a time when the Middle East telecoms industry is seeing massive growth, to the extent of being considered the fastest growing and most ambitious telecom market in the world. The sheer volume of change and increase in user numbers places increasing stress on networks and operations management teams. Through events such as this, we strive to secure alignment of the quality of service ambitions of our operator customers and the needs of their user base."
