Bose® Professional Audio Solution Centre in Dubai

The concept is truly unique and is the first ever store of its kind in the region. It will not only have professional sound systems in a live environment but also educate customers and provide a one-on-one interface to clients such as consultants, architects, installers, venue operators, and hoteliers.

'This new initiative creates a great environment to showcase the best of Bose® professional audio systems, especially to the hospitality and the entertainment industry,' in the United Arab Emirates said John Dodson, General Manager of Bose Export Inc for Middle East & Africa.

This 145 Sq Metres Pro display center is owned and operated by G&M International, the Bose® representatives in the UAE. G&M International has six retail Bose® stores across the country, and this Pro showroom is the latest addition to the family.

The idea was first conceived back in February 2005. The Chairman of the company, Mr Abdul Majeed Bolooki, with the help of the Professional Division team, decided to make alternate use of their Professional and Projects division warehouse space and converted it into a premium two level showroom.

Although this new concept, at that time, seemed to be risky that also required a big chunk of the company's Pro marketing funds, the dedicated team at G&M International decided to carry on with the idea and pursue the Bose® Corporation's philosophy; 'To be better, one has to be different'.

'To us, it was a natural extension of the Bose philosophy-innovate and dare to be different. There were no points of reference, so we had to take the initiative (and the accompanying risk) to pioneer something which was going to be a first of its kind in the region. Thanks to the relentless efforts of our team, the vision has become a reality,' says Abdul Majeed Bolooki, Chairman of G&M International LLC.

The main idea behind this concept was for all products to be in an operational status. Besides that, a customer can see, hear and feel the quality of Bose® products, the performance of design solution and understand what a typical installation would cost.

The Bose Professional Audio Solutions Centre is divided into five zones each depicting a real world environment that covers Business Houses (installed with Business Music Systems with Zone control), the Corporate Boardroom which simulates a multi purpose meeting room that has in-wall, invisible speakers, motorised video projection systems, facilities for video switching & audio conferencing, voting & interpretation- all this fully automated using the Bose ControlSpaceTM System.

The other area is the Entertainment Hall which houses several products from the Bose Pro Family. At one look, entertainment outlets, night clubs, pubs, discos etc can get a real feel of the possibilities that the Bose Pro Family of products can bring to their environment. The Architectural Space Zone is devoted to showcasing posters from various prestigious projects all over the world that have used Bose products.

The Hospitality Room at Level 1 typically simulates a hotel suite setting installed with Wave Music and Lifestyle series equipments from Bose. The operation of the Bose® Link AL8 is also demonstrated to the clients, showing how easy it is to expand the Lifestyle® System to additional rooms wirelessly.
