ARTC appoints new General Manager for Suzuki UAE
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 11 - 2006 at 12:19
- PRESS RELEASE
One of the leading business houses in the region, The Al Rostamani Group has recently appointed Mr. Setrak Mechedjian as General Manager to its automobile division, Al Rostamani Trading Company.
With solid experience in the automotive industry spanning over 20 years, Mr. Setrak is no stranger to the Rostamani Group where he played a key role in helping Arabian Automobiles move from strength to strength during 1993 to 2000.
When asked about his plans for Suzuki for 2007, his reply was firm: "Suzuki is one of the most reliable automobiles to come from Japan. It is time the UAE feels the economic value that this brand can bring into their lives."
With best-selling models like the eye-catching Swift and the iconic Grand Vitara noticeably plying the roads of the UAE with a steady increase, there are clear signs that the Japanese automaker has plans to rather aggressively increase its stake in the region's market share. Keep an eye out for exciting new models to hit the local market in the coming year, beginning with the much awaited SX4, a rather sharp-looking urban crossover powered by a new potent 2.0L engine, followed by the all-new XL-7.
The launch of the Suzuki SX-4 will be held at the 8th International Automobile Show taking place at the ExpoCentre Sharjah from the 14th to 18th November 2006.
