Lenovo, the world's 3rd largest PC vendor, will bring together technology leaders from various industries around the region for a one-day conference alongside GITEX Dubai 2006, which will be addressed by Bill Amelio, Lenovo's CEO, during his first visit to the Middle East.
"Each industry sector has unique technology requirements that drive the business. "Lenovo delivers the best engineered PCs, uniquely capable of serving specific business needs. Embracing a culture of performance, Lenovo is committed to innovation beyond the machine, innovation that can build a business and become an asset to the organisation."
The Lenovo Middle East CIO Conference will take place on Sunday, 19th November with a keynote by Bill Amelio, Lenovo's CEO. This will be followed by sessions relevant to key vertical industries such as finance, education, aviation, oil & gas, telecommunication and healthcare. Each session will tackle the trends within each industry, globally and within the region.
Chief information officers from around the region will also be invited to discover how they can use the capabilities of the ThinkVantage technologies to add real value to their business.
"ThinkVantage Technologies help our customers become more competitive and on demand by delivering industry-leading capabilities that improve productivity and reduce cost. These tools help make ThinkPad/ThinkCentre personal computers less dependent on IT staff or user intervention for basic tasks like deployment, backup, security and more — freeing both users and IT staff to focus on business success," Ghani added.
