New WebMail for Etisalat Internet Mail provides customers with dynamic user experience

The new WebMail with a host of exciting features was developed based on extensive feedback from a large number of customers. Customers can access the new WebMail at http://www.etisalat.ae

The new WebMail offers a variety of exciting new features such as Arabic and English bilingual interface, Importing and Exporting of Address Book Contacts, checking Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail accounts with a click of a button, sending SMS messages through a special composer to any mobile phone worldwide, and providing more than 50+ WebMail Skins.

Key highlights include SMS Alerts whereby users can activate settings from the WebMail to send alerts to a designated mobile number based on subject line or when they get mail from a specific address or domain. Another innovative feature of the new WebMail service is the Voice Mail feature through which users can record a voice mail and then email it as an Mp3 file to a recipient.

In terms of email storage, the capacity has also been increased by 10 times at no additional cost with customers now getting 50 MB of storage for a standard email account. Etisalat have also provided users with a comprehensive protection through the Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam features provided with the WebMail.

According to Abdulla Hashim, Assistant General Manager, Marketing, Etisalat, " The new WebMail service has a completely user-driven interface ensuring that the service reflects the functional requirements our customers need in addition to incorporating the latest technology to keep pace with the demands of communication today."

Through the WebMail, Etisalat customers can take advantage of the convenience and ease of use of the email2SMS service allowing them to send SMS messages even when they do not have a mobile phone at hand , or are traveling outside the UAE without a roaming facility enabled on their phone.
