Credit Suisse appoints Raj Sehgal as the Head of the Non-Resident Indian Group for Private Banking in the Middle East/Indian Sub-Continent

Credit Suisse today announced that it has appointed Raj Sehgal as the Head of the Non-Resident Indian Group for Private Banking in the Middle East/Indian Sub-Continent, effective November 13, 2006.
In his new position as Head of the Non-Resident Indian Group for Private Banking in the Middle East/Indian Sub-Continent, Raj Sehgal will be responsible for the growth and further development of this important business throughout the region. In addition, in his role as Deputy Branch Manager of Credit Suisse Dubai, he will be responsible for further strengthening Dubai as a hub for Credit Suisse's Middle Eastern activities.
Bruno Daher, Head of Private Banking in the Middle East/Indian Sub-Continent and Co-CEO of the Middle East, commented: "Raj Sehgal's impressive track record, his distinct focus on clients and people, and his great expertise and long-standing experience in the Middle East and India will be of critical importance as he builds up this important client segment for Credit Suisse."
Raj Sehgal holds a BA in Economics from the Hindu College, Delhi University in India and an MBA from New York University in the US. During his career at Merrill Lynch and American Express Bank, he completed assignments in New York, New Delhi, London, Manama, Geneva and Dubai.
