Mio Technology Ltd.(MTL) developed and released the world's first GPS-integrated PDA in 2003, the success of this technology breakthrough established MTL as one of the fastest growing handheld device providers worldwide. The "Mio DigiWalker" brand was launched in Europe in 2004, according to Canalys and IDC report. Mio is the third-largest GPS brand and No.4 PDA vendor worldwide in terms of market share. Mio estimated shipments worldwide this year are expected to reach 1.5 million units.
