Apple IMC Middle East gears up to exhibit at GITEX 2006

With GITEX 2006 just around the corner, Apple's Independent Marketing Company in the Middle East, Arab Business Machine Ltd recently announced plans for a comprehensive participation in the widely anticipated IT exhibition.

With several key announcements and interesting product launches, the leading technology innovator will have its latest range of products and complementary accessories on display at this year's event.

With a 165 sq meter stand in Hall 4, Arab Business Machine Ltd plans to have a major presence at the IT extravaganza, with separate sections for Apple's diverse product lines this year. The exhibit will include a dedicated section showcasing the iPod Hi-Fi, iPod models with Apple accessories, as well as third party accessories.

Additionally, the Apple stand will attract visitors with a presentation zone displaying demonstrations on iLife 06, podcasting, Final cut pro, and other cutting-edge innovations from Apple. The Apple stand will also have the latest Apple computers on display, providing GITEX visitors with an opportunity to get a feel of Apple's newest.

Speaking on ABM's participation in GITEX 2006, Elias Abou-Rustom, General Manager, Arab Business Machine Ltd. said,

'As always, we are carefully planning and keenly looking forward to this year's GITEX. The major event has definitely become an important platform for us to communicate and demonstrate recent innovations, as well as the latest Apple technology. We will definitely maximize our participation in the event to showcase our latest products and services. Apart from core Apple technology, the Apple stall will also exhibit 3rd party solutions for the Mac platform. Backed by various vendors, the products that will be on display include Wacom products, Sonnett products for the iPod, Aquasoft, a VPN solution from SonicWALL & the software VPN Tracker from equinux and the Mac mini dashboard solution.

At GITEX 2006, Apple IMC Middle East will also launch MyBlu, which is an exciting, new iPod accessory that connects the iPodŽ and any mobile phone through Bluetooth technology. With the device, you can listen to tunes, make and take phone calls, or listen to the radio on your iPod, while providing further functionality of a remote control and FM receiver.
