With an array of features and variants, the flagship Jaguar XJ range has been well received by its wide customer base in the region.
Iconic in style and available in engine variants ranging from an entry level 3 litre to the powerful 4.2 litre Supercharged, XJ cars are available in Standard or Long Wheelbases. Customer appreciation of the cars is evident from the 15 plus awards it has won since its global launch in 2003.

"Jaguar has consistently made vehicles that look gorgeous and provide a great driving experience. We have a range that suits the different expectations of our large customer base. The XJ model range exemplifies the diversity that Jaguar delivers to discerning customers of luxury saloons in the Middle East and worldwide," Said Andy Gawthorpe, Managing Director, Jaguar Middle East and North Africa.

Since its launch in the region in 2003 the XJ range has grown to encompass the below:
• XJ Executive - 3 litre engine in Standard or Long Wheelbase options
• XJ Sovereign - available in 3, 3.5 and 4.2 litre Standard or Long Wheelbase options
• XJR - the 4.2 litre supercharged engine in a Standard Wheelbase
• Daimler - the Super V8 4.2 litre supercharged engine in both Standard and Long Wheelbases

Jaguar pioneered and owns the aluminum monocoque construction technology that was first used in the aircraft industry. With the current XJ range, Jaguar created history by becoming the first company to apply the technology in the automotive industry. The aluminium body structure of the XJ made the car 40 per cent lighter and 60 per cent stiffer than if conventional steel been used.

The benefits of this include improved performance, fuel economy, crash safety, vehicle dynamics, lower emissions and recyclability.

The luxurious interior reveals new levels of spaciousness, ergonomic flexibility and seat comfort, together with entertainment, climate control and communications systems that reflect the needs of today's luxury car customers.

Harnessing the latest technologies to design relevant, intuitive and user-friendly driver aids, the XJ includes a LCD touchscreen display that provides fingertip control of climate, audio, TV and DVD navigation systems and Bluetooth technology, and a voice-activated system to reduce driver distractions. In the rear of the car, a multi-media system allows passengers to access audio, TV/video and telephone systems independently of the driver and front seat passenger.

All models in the XJ range have a 6-speed automatic transmission, new powertrain and chassis technologies, and four V6 engines that deliver effortless, refined and exhilarating performance.
