Hailed as a genius of the jewellery industry, Pasquale Bruni has to his credit many collections that are unmistakably unique and magical.
The Il Peccato collection is perhaps the most sensual one in the entire range of the master designer. The outstanding piece is a rich and opulent ring that interprets anti-minimalism par excellence. It is a ring with tremendous personality, characterized by its extraordinary form. Curvy and carnal, delicate and primordial, this golden serpent laden with diamonds wraps around the finger in an unusual and elegant knot.
And the choice is immense. It comes in different versions: yellow gold; pink gold with semi-precious stones; yellow gold with sapphires, cognac diamonds, green garnet and citrine; white gold and diamonds. In the last version, the interior of the ring bears an interesting curiosity: an engraving of the number of diamonds in the pave setting: 658.
Bearing contrast to the old collections which were based on the new romanticism of the classic symbols - heart, flower, sun, moon, Il Peccato develops and focuses on new and more mature themes.
In fact, this approach started with the Anima ring, which had sinewy curves and softness, reminding one of the sensuality of a woman. Later came, the Talismano D'Africa (African Talisman), which had an elephant head with the trunk pointing up that elegantly wraps itself around a woman's hand. And now Il Peccato that explicitly declares its symbolism through its name takes this trend forward.
Very different from the Il Peccato collection, Orme has a beautiful range in its own right. The embellished feet in the jewellery are reminiscent of footprints left behind on the path towards the future. Romantically suggestive jewellery with a subtle touch of irony, Orme collection has a "chubby" baby's foot that amusingly makes its first uncertain steps in life. The Orme (Footprint) Collection is comprised of rings and pendants in yellow gold, white gold, diamonds and sapphires, embodied in the shape of the foot. The collection is so unconventional that one of these pieces is a must to add to your jewellery collection for that extra flavour.
Another noteworthy collection from the brand is Charms. A must-have from the 60s with a modern twist, signed by Pasquale Bruni, this collection is one of the first to bring back this classic jewel giving it new light and a modern edge. Gold, colourful enamel and diamonds in miniature become grand examples of style. It has a pink suitcase with a heart-shaped lock, the little princess crown, the heart-shaped musical note, the pirate's ship with a heart as its insignia, a basket of flowers and a house with a red roof.
Last but not the least is the Classic collection. With its sensuality and decisive appearance, the Classic collection strikes a delicate balance that characterises the Pasquale Bruni collections between substance and lightness, strength and delicateness, sensuality and elegance. Unique with a sophisticated artisan craftsmanship, this line is of outstanding beauty.
Talking about these new collections, Mr. Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas said: "Pasquale Bruni is a very talented artist. He constantly tries to produce new designs which reflect his extraordinary skills and entrepreneurial commitment. These new lines speak of his unmistakable style, refined production technique and meticulous finishing which will surely be another hit in this region."
"Il Peccato, Orme, Charm and the Classic collection by renowned designer Pasquale Bruni are to be treasured. In fact, they are one of the most wonderful collections I've ever seen. We hope they will do very well in Dubai since we have many ardent fans of the brand in the region."
Pasquale Bruni's latest collections are available at Damas stores located in leading 5-star hotels and shopping malls in the UAE.
