In addition to the range of the latest 2007 Model Year vehicles, the Stand has several other exciting attractions. These include the, rugged and fun FJ Cruiser SUV, which has been designed to take on and conquer all types of challenging terrain, and keep coming back for more. This exciting new addition to the range will be available for sale in the UAE in the third quarter of next year, providing even more choice for drivers.

The Toyota Stand also includes the FTX Concept Pick-Up Truck, which makes a very bold statement about Toyota's possible future full-size Pick-Up truck plans. This Pick-Up has several innovative features to enhance its utility, whether being used for work or for leisure, and is powered by a large, V8 hybrid gas-electric engine that delivers impressive torque, fuel-efficiency and lower emissions.

Reinforcing Toyota's involvement in motorsport, the Stand will include the Team Toyota Auto Body Land Cruiser rally vehicle that won the Dakkar 2006 Challenge and successfully competed in the recent UAE Desert Challenge Rally. And visitors to the Stand will have the opportunity to have some fun driving an F1 Simulator, with prizes for those achieving the fastest lap-times in various age categories.

Also on display will be the all-new and rejuvenated Camry which was recently launched and has already proved a tremendous favourite with UAE motorists.

Mr. Colin Leitch, the Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors, commented, 'We are pleased to participate in this important Motor Show, as it affords us another opportunity to showcase our range of vehicles to the show visitors, and give them the chance to explore the very latest models. We know that many visitors are very keen to see the new FJ-Cruiser and we are looking forward to bringing this exciting SUV to our UAE customers next year. The FJ-Cruiser will join the RAV4, Fortuner, Prado and Land Cruiser in our SUV line-up, provide even more choice and further strengthen our dominance of the SUV market.'

He also noted that, 'As evidence of our on-going commitment to meeting the needs of our customers in the Northern Emirates, we will be opening a new Sales and Service facility in Ajman early in the New Year, further strengthening the Toyota brand's appeal.'

Mr. Tony Barlow, the General Manager of Sales & Marketing at Al-Futtaim Motors, said 'We have a significant presence and display of our product range at this Motor Show, and we welcome all the Show's visitors to take the opportunity to drop by the Toyota Stand, and chat with our Sales team who will be happy to assist them with any questions they have on the market-leading Toyota range.'
