This ensures reliability, stability and security for consumers. Both the FP93GX and FP93GS models are built specifically to facilitate consumer convenience. The FP93GX features an ultra-fast 2ms response time which coupled with BenQ's Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) technology enables crisper moving images by reducing response time across colour scales. This yields crystal clear images for the most demanding of video application.

"We are delighted to be the first company to have our LCD monitors declared compatible with Microsoft's Windows Vista operating systems," said Manish Bakshi, general manager, BenQ Middle East and Africa. "We are focused on using technology to improve user experience and currently produce several of the most innovative LCD models in the world. Both the FP93GX and FP93GS models monitors are designed to take advantage of the latest Windows innovations."

Out of the estimated market size of 1.08 million sets for LCD monitors in the Middle East, BenQ aims to capture a substantial share in 2006. According to BNA research, BenQ ranks third in terms of LCD monitor sales in the region, whilst revenue growth for 2005 versus 2004 reached 35 per cent.

The monitors features BenQ's proprietary 'Senseye' digital-enhancement technology that automatically and dynamically improves image quality, adjusts brightness and darkness levels, performs color-mapping procedures, and reduces jagged edges on images. Senseye also adjusts contrast, color and sharpness settings, which significantly enhances the display of pictures and graphics-intensive applications such as gaming, digital photos, and entertainment and professional multimedia presentations. Both monitors have been tested to meet high-quality standards and deliver a superior end-user experience when used with a PC running a Windows Vista operating system.

The BenQ FP241VW is also expected to receive the Windows Vista certification which will confirm its best in-class performance and features.
