Retail promotions taking place at reseller locations throughout Dubai are to be complemented by a 'best price for the technology' guarantee at the Computer Shopper show. The Lenovo 3000 products are designed for small business customers who want a reliable, easy-to-use PC featuring modern design silhouettes.

"Lenovo 3000 PC's and peripherals are engineered to be worry-free so that our customers can concentrate on their business rather than their computers," said Imtiaz Ghani, general manager, Lenovo Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan.

"From the engineers that created the Think products, the Lenovo 3000 offers a new smart choice for small businesses and consumers. Visitors to Computer Shopper will be able to avail of a number of great offers from our retail partners."

The Lenovo range includes the N100 widescreen notebook PC, the first to feature Intel® Core ™ 2 Duo. The N100 features such innovations in PC technology as next-generation WiFi connectivity, enhanced multimedia features, the latest Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor, Vista Premium-ready capabilities and industry-leading system support. Also available will be the Lenovo V100, weighing a sleek 1.8Kg and sporting a 12.1-inch widescreen display, which comes with an integrated optical drive for watching movies, playing music or installing software.

"The new Lenovo 3000 Family of products is brought to you by the same makers of the world-class ThinkPad and Lenovo notebooks, known throughout the industry for its high standards of quality, reliability and durability. In addition, Lenovo stands by this new product line by contracting with IBM to deliver its award-winning service & support to its customers worldwide," Ghani added.

Lenovo 3000 PCs come equipped with ThinkVantage-inspired technology that are simple to use and targeted to meet the needs of small business customers called Lenovo Care Tools, providing a rich variety of enterprise-level functionality including security, back-up, recovery and automation. With Lenovo Care tools, PC maintenance and service guesswork is replaced by powerful autonomic tools to help make PCs more self-reliant. For example, instead of manually locating and applying critical system updates, the Lenovo 3000 PC identifies and updates its own Lenovo software to take that arduous task off of the user. In addition, Lenovo Care tools can help users streamline maintenance tasks to keep PCs running like new.
