New management roles at Evason Hideaway at Zighy Bay - Oman

Jo-Ella Moore has joined Six Senses' Evason Hideaway brand as resident manager of the property at Zighy Bay in the Sultanate of Oman.
Jo-Ella comes to the Evason Hideaway from her previous two-year role as front office manager at Filitheyo Island Resort in the Maldives. Previously, she had held similar roles at a beach resort in the township of Lorne, and with Quay West Suites in Melbourne - both in her native Australia.
After graduating from Launceston University, Jo-Ella began her hospitality career with several island resort roles as revenue controller and night auditing before entering the realm of sales and business development. Following a tenure with Laguna Quay and Daydream Island resorts, and All Seasons, Jo-Ella set her sights further afield and joined Rocco Forte Hotels in the United Kingdom, as front office manager at St David's Hotel & Spa, and rooms division training manager for the UK.
Ashish Modak has joined Six Senses' Evason Hideaway brand as the director of food and beverage at the Zighy Bay property. The Evason Hideaway at Zighy Bay is scheduled to open in mid-2007. In this role he will create direct a multitude of food and beverage experiences at the 82-pool villa property.
Ashish joins Evason Hideaway at Zighy Bay from the Maldives, where he held the positions of food and beverage director then resort manager, with Taj Exotica Resort and Spa. Previously to that. he had a seven-year tenure with The Taj Mahal Palace and Towers - Mumbai, in his native India, during which he performed the roles of restaurant manger, banquet operations and sales, club manger at The Chambers and supervisory roles.
Earning a bachelor of Arts, Economic Major, from Tilak Maharashtra University in Pune, Ashish complimented this with Rooms Management from Cornell University. He was selected to be in charge of service for UK Prime Minister John Major on his visit to Calcutta in 1997, and then during the stay of US President Bill Clinton at Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai in 2001.
