Emirates Motor Sports Federation at International Automobile Show

Emirates Motor Sports Federation (EMSF) Chairman HH Sheikh Marwan Bin Rashid Al Mualla today inaugurated the EMSF's stand at the 8th International Automobile Show and also simultaneously unveiled the Federation's new logo at the Sharjah Expo Center.

Sheikh Marwan officially unveiled the new logo, which has been designed in keeping with the times; giving the Federation's corporate identity a more youthful and vibrant look, in the presence of Sharjah Amiri Court Chairman Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qassimi, Board Member of the Sharjah Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Salem Al Mosharrekh, EMSF Director General Khalid Al Malik, EMSF Vice Chairman Hammad Al Mazrouei and other dignitaries.

While Sheikh Marwan also re-launched the EMSF's revamped bilingual magazine, The Motorist / Assayar, Sheikh Abdullah unveiled the Federation's new-look website which has been redesigned to include added features.

Later, speaking with EMSF members Sheikh Marwan said the Federation has decided to invest heavily in people, infrastructure and technology in order to achieve several goals, topmost among them being the continuous development and implementation of motor sports rules and regulations, spreading the culture of motor sports in the entire country and, to a great extent, contribute towards society too.

In order to achieve these goals, he pointed out the EMSF think-tank has identified four core priority areas: Infrastructure, business development, marketing and products & services development.

For his part, Mr. Malik said the Federation was committed to excellence in services offered. Apart from that, Mr. Malik said the EMSF would work towards widening its already broad portfolio at all levels.

EMSF staff distributed free copies of the magazine and an advance copy of the Federation's 2007 calendar.

The Automobile Show, which runs from November 14-18, will have major attractions as follows: Launch of several new models by the world's top-notch automakers; off-road 4x4 automotive experience on exclusively built tracks; driving challenges; rally car experience; gaming zones; brand dedicated off-road zones; exciting prizes, gifts and give-aways.
