USR products to be implemented at gas processing plant in Abu Dhabi to provide Wi-Fi connectivity to staff

The company secured a contract to implement its Professional Access Points at the gas processing plant being built by Bechtel for Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) in the onshore field Asab, in Abu Dhabi. The implementation of USR's connectivity solutions at the plant will initially provide Wi-Fi connectivity to more than 100 executives of Gasco.

When the project is completed, three areas of 162 square meters each will have Wi-Fi connectivity using multiple Professional Access Points (USR5453) in clusters interconnected by optical fiber backbone. USRobotics won this important deal through its partner InterNetwork Technology, who was awarded the contract by Bechtel.
