ESKADENIA deploys multi-access portal for LibanCell

The portal is the first of its kind in the Middle East providing a great deal of information and interaction with the users.

The portal, STRETCH, is a multi-access portal that allows access through the Internet, WAP and SMS. The portal provides a wide variety of features for guests and registered users including the latest in News, Business, Finance, Health, Technology, Sports and Weather. In addition it provides helpful directories and a wide range of useful entertainment areas where the user can be quickly led to the best and latest in movies, travel, galleries, music and much more. The portal is built on top of Oracle's 9i Application Server and is deployed on Sun Microsystems hardware. ESKADENIA has also integrated the portal with LibanCell's SMSC (Short Messaging Service Centre) and billing system.

Moreover, the portal provides special features such as the personalization, personal email accounts, automatic WAP setup of cellular devices, calendars, To Do lists and Web to SMS services.

STRETCH can also connect the users to ESKADENIA's Chat Service, which was integrated into the portal, allowing him to chat through the Internet or cellular device with other subscribed users.

ESKADENIA was also in charge of the integration of the portal with LibanCell's SMSC (Short Messaging Service Centre) and billing system.
