The advances in Hitachi's new DVD camcorder line is expected to satisfy the demands of both tech-savvy users wanting cutting-edge, premium features and enhanced image quality as well as price-conscious consumers focused on convenience and ease of use. The new product line, marking the introduction of the sixth generation of DVD camcorders of Hitachi, comprises of DZ-BX37E, DZ-GX3100E, DZ-GX3200E and DZ-GX3300E.

The new product line provides media format versatility to support the most popular and widely available DVD formats, including DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM and DVD+RW discs as well as SD cards for digital stills. This industry leading format compatibility allows users to choose the DVD format that best suits their individual needs.

Among the many new features in the new models is the One Second Start button, which readies the camcorder to begin recording within one second of activation to ensure no action is missed.

Announcing the availability of the new product line, Mr Deepak Babani, CEO, Eros Group said:

"Hitachi was the first company to introduce DVD camcorders in the market. With the introduction of the new product line, Hitachi has proved once again that it continues to enhance its original technologies to provide customers advanced and yet easy-to-use, affordable DVD camcorders."

All models include the new Video-to-Photo Capture function, which allows users to pull a photo still from video and route to SD memory card. This prevents taking video without switching the "still mode" on and off and enables users to easily create the photo image of any desired scene after recording onto DVD.

Additionally, all models offer enhanced viewing on a large 2.7-inch 16:9 widescreen LCD, a built-in flash and PC editing kit compatible with Windows and Macintosh.

The new product line is available at all Eros outlets in the UAE.
