"Reinforcing the importance of the fast growing IT market in the Middle East, Dell™ through a long standing alliance with its strategic partners will expand business potential in the region," explained Michael Collins, General Manager, Dell Middle East. "We have a strong offering of new products available immediately, ranging from SoHo products to enterprise applications and power solutions."

The new processors have up to 40 percent greater performance than the current PentiumŪ D processors but use 40 percent less power.

"Dell is committed to offering its customers the latest technology at the best value and quality," Collins said. "The applications for which customers are using their PCs are becoming more demanding, requiring such things as more memory and faster processing speeds. The Dell ninth-generation PowerEdge™ 1950, 2900 and 2950 servers and Dell PowerEdge 1955 blade server dramatically boost performance.
