Under the agreement, Tejari will provide a dedicated portal for Expo Centre Sharjah and its clients, which will give exhibitors a wide range of online marketing services to complement participation in exhibitions at Expo Centre Sharjah.

The Expo Centre Sharjah portal, which will be built and operated by Tejari, will be available to all exhibitors at Expo Centre Sharjah events, and will provide them with an online presence before, during and after exhibitions, to provide an additional means of promoting their services and building links with trading partners.

Exhibitor companies will be able to showcase products and services in an online marketplace, exchange buy and sell leads with other members of the Tejari network, and easily access Tejari's transactional marketplaces.

"Expo Centre Sharjah is dedicated to increasing the value that we offer to exhibitors, and to developing new channels to support their marketing efforts as part of their participation in our exhibitions," said Saif Al Midfa, Director General, Expo Centre Sharjah.

"With this agreement with Tejari, we will be able to complement the physical platform that we provide to exhibitors with an online e-Exhibition portal that will introduce new services. The portal will also extend the reach of exhibitors to showcase their products to new markets, and give them a presence pre- and post-event, further increasing the value of exhibiting at our events."

"We welcome this relationship with a leading organization such as Expo Centre Sharjah. Tejari is committed to using its e-commerce expertise to empower business communities in the region." said Omar Hijazi, CEO of Tejari.

Tejari will provide technical support and service to Expo Centre Sharjah clients, to help set up their online presence and to make the most of the service. The portal will also be expanded and updated on a regular basis to offer additional services to clients, based on new additions from Tejari and on feedback from exhibition clients.
